# How do I remove the Messenger app in Shopify?

In order for IntelliTicks AI's Messenger bot to work properly on your Shopify store, you'll need to remove the Messenger sales channel in Shopify first. (Your new IntelliTicks AI bot will have all the same features of the Messenger app, and more.)

To remove the Messenger app, log into your Shopify account. Go to Settings > Sales Channels > and hit the trash icon next to the Messenger channel.
